Silky smooth skin is achieved by waxing, leaving your skin looking younger and brighter. Eyebrow design does not just leave a person looking manicured, but it empowers your connection to other people. The most common misconception regarding facial waxing is that if you wax your face, you will grow darker, thicker hair. This is an old wives tale. The disappointing truth is that as women age, they normally will lose their brow hair and acquire darker and thicker hair on the lower part of their face. Unlike dermaplaning, waxed hair re-grows baby soft and stubble-free.
Colleen Elizabeth delivers a safe, sanitary and expert skin experience: masked and gloved at all times, while using disposable one-use spatulas to dispense all products, including wax tubs.
IMPORTANT: While waxing is regularly and commonly done without any adverse reaction, it is
important that you review the instructions below to keep your skin extra safe.
Instructions to prevent adverse reactions to waxing: To prevent scabbing after your wax: Please discontinue use of Retin-A (or any other exfoliant) prior and post treatment. Discontinue use of Accutane 6 months prior to treatment. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds. Avoid all home exfoliants and professional body exfoliation treatments. To prevent a skin infection after a wax: Avoid cardiovascular activity, swimming pools, hot tubs or hot springs, natural mud baths, and the ocean. Avoid use of poor common grade products (make-up, sunscreen, and cosmetics). Also avoid contact with pets and others for the first 24 hours To prevent breaking out after a facial wax: For women, break-outs may occur post waxing during hormonal cycles including menopause, pregnancy, as well as PMS through the end of ovulation. To help prevent break-outs post-waxing, avoid use of poor common grade products (make-up, sunscreen, and cosmetics) as well as cardiovascular exercise. To prevent skin rashes after a wax: Avoid cardiovascular activity, swimming pools, hot tubs or hot springs, natural mud baths, and the ocean. Avoid use of poor common grade products (make-up, sunscreen, and cosmetics). Also avoid contact with pets and others for the first 24 hours.
